For foreigners who, for various reasons, did not transfer their Permanent Resident visa before October 22, 2022, and who, despite having updated their Foreigner's Identification Card for a period of 5 years, They must complete this process, for which they have a new deadline, granted by the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the partial modification of Articles 106 and 118 of Resolution 5477 of 2022.
The new Resolution 9316 of September 27, 2024, extends this deadline to October 31, 2026.
